So this week for scouts we decided to do the safest thing that teenage boys can do....We laid out eleven knives, a tomahawk, and a throwing star, went to my parents backyard and threw them at tree stumps. I gave them some targets to hit. I think we all had a good time. Especially when I hit the my illustrated man right in the eye with a knife. It was awesome!! I love being in scouts!!!

Medieval week or something!

Recent Project
I work with the young men in my church group and we are having a standards night based on the theme "Armor of God", so my bishop asked me if I'd come up with a concept for the shield. So I decided to paint the Tree of Life with the Iron Rod leading up to it. The Iron Rod of course representing God's words. My bishop loved it, but even cooler is he brought his replica of "Narsil, Flame of the West". (Aragon's sword in Lord of the Rings). It was awesome so of course I couldn't resist taking a ton of pictures of it.
