During the summer Perry decided to grant us mercy and allow us to paint land and cityscapes. Hurray! It was a nice break. This is one of San Francisco I did after I got back from my trip. It was one of those paintings that I was totally miserable for about the first 80% of the painting. Then it finally started coming together during the last 20%. That's when it started getting fun again and I remembered why I painted and abandoned my betraying thoughts of quitting art and becoming a bum on the streets because there was nothing better to do with my life. I like the painting now as a quick study.
