I don't do much water color and I don't usually take pictures of my process but I thought it might be fun this time. I've never done a water color this big and I've never done a full figure study in the medium either. So I thought it would be fun to try... and it was. I really enjoy water color but I think I still prefer oil and acrylic for figures. I think the thing I like the most about water color though is how spontaneous it is. started with an under drawing in charcoal that was probably rendered more than I should have. So next time I don't think I'll do that extensive of an under drawing. I learned a lot from this painting. My goal with my art is to always do a little bit better than the last painting or drawing I did. I think that's a good goal to strive for. That way I'll never run out of things to work on!
